Pink Christmas Entertaining ~ Sleigh All Day!

Pink Christmas Entertaining Ideas

The final Christmas gathering idea is here and it’s all about pink!  If you’re stuck on how to set the table tonight and want to create something fresh, maybe this will help get you started in the right direction…

I love this ruffle muslin table linen for Christmastime because it looks like a snow covering!  White industrial chairs + white tabletop elements, a wild and free evergreen centerpiece, and a mixture of pink + gold complete the tablescape.

Grab some pink cardstock, trace and cut circles (For this size – I used a solo cup), and add your guests’ names in gold sharpie.  Pair them with these mini pink Christmas trees from target! Find free tree clipping at any Christmas tree shop and create your own wild centerpiece.  Add some pink and gold ornaments, pinecones, and berries to fill it in!   I use these gold-rimmed glasses all the time.  Pier One!#sleighallday apple pie.  SCRUMPTIOUS!This is one of my favorite new ideas… Pie crust cutouts for dipping.  I recently used this idea for hot cocoa and it soaked up all the chocolate so well, I thought I’d try it in eggnog too!  Frosty Dipper Eggnog Holiday Drinks, delish!

We wish everyone near and far a very Merry Christmas!!

2017 Holiday Trend: Red Plaid

Red Plaid Dinner Styling with a Blanket!

Setting the table this Christmas is extra difficult only because there are so many fun options!  If you have a Christmas throw hanging around the house that inspires you, consider using it as a table setting base.  We did just that using the 2017 holiday trend: red plaid.  Top it with lush greens, pewter, and gold (ornaments in the floral arrangement yes!) and have yourself a cozy little holiday gathering!

Santa and Frosty mini plates top white linen and silver sparkle lined napkins.  Simple white plates, pewter chargers with a gold rim, and gold flatware fill in the tablescape.Cranberries look amazing in winter cocktails!  I also added them to pewter goblets as decoration to hold these scroll name tags in place.  The scrolls are simply hand torn watercolor paper and gold sharpie.  Easy peasy.Use blankets to pretty up just about anything!  …Food styling!  Mmmmm pie <3

Holiday Dinner Party Styling!

Holiday Dinner Party Styling
with a totally free evergreen table runner!

Whether you are planning a dinner party with friends or find yourself hosting a last-minute shindig, these holiday styled ideas are super easy and budget friendly!

This DIY table runner is a personal favorite year after year.  Not only is it pretty, it smells like Christmas and it’s TOTALLY FREE and fun to make!  Stop by any Christmas tree farm/shop and grab a few branch clippings from their trash pile.  For this 8 foot table garland, I used just one large branch. All you’ll need is floral wire and garden clippers.  Start by preparing a pile of small branches leaving a few inches of stem on each clipping.  Layer the branches covering the stems and emptier spaces with plenty of wire. Once it’s on the table, you can decorate it with anything you like!  I used a mixture of walnuts and gold ornaments. These plain white plates are also budget-friendly and the perfect item to have in case of larger parties at just $12 for a set of 6.  Never serve on paper plates again 🙂

Head to target for these Hearth & Hand Napkins and Gold Flatware.  And Pier One for the gold rimmed glassware.I keep old name tags in a folder and bring them back out for last-minute styling nights.  These gold foil on vellum cards go with just about anything! You can see more of my home during the holidays over on Instagram!  Come say hi to me over there!  And happy hosting!
